Here we go! We're going back to school! Well, Brody is, which means life gets a little quiet around the home again. As much as I can't wait for nap times (that soooo didn't happen with this 6-year old), I'm going to miss hanging out with the little man. He'd sneak into my bed to cuddle in the mornings, we'd have our own activities each week, watch movies, play Legos...yeah, I'm going to miss that. I got to be a kid for a while! With the Brodster going off to school, I realized that this was our last summer like this. Just him and me. Yes, having baby Louie with us by next summer will be exciting and fun. Still, I can't help but have that bittersweet feeling of not having just one kid anymore. One mouth to feed, one scoundrel to play with, one child to watch out for...we only have three months left of this. I catch myself thinking "How are we going to do this with two kids?" Sounds ridiculous, especially since we know so many people that have three or four kids, but it's still a very real emotion. How are we going to do this? Well, enough of that! We'll figure it out, parents always do. Sometimes we get so busy worrying about non-existent issues that we forget to get excited for the new changes to come. A new hand to hold, a new set of cheeks to kiss, and new voice to hear...how exciting is that? Louie is going to change everything, and it's going to be awesome. There are going to be more hugs, more kisses, and so much more cuddling that any mother could ever want! AHH!! Is it October yet??? Dress: Forever 21 (old) try this instead
