28 Weeks8/14/2014 I have been so busy this week, and I'm pretty proud of it! I didn't think I'd be running around doing so many errands during my third trimester. I genuinely thought I was going to nap every day, but my energy is way up, so why not do things instead - ANY THINGS! What am I most proud of? Organizing Brody's Legos!! Wowzers, what a task, but I did it! Surely, this won't last the weekend, but at least there's a system now. I was even able to help out my son's teacher this week! It was pretty cool spending time in the classroom, watching the daily routine and getting to know Brody's classmates. It's a new school for him, so I'm sure some aspects were intimidating for him, which can only make a parent worry. There's a sense of relief that comes with actually seeing the environment he learns in. It's so positive, well organized, and fun! Being 28 weeks pregnant, I'm getting much more comfortable wearing form-fitting clothing. This would have never happened any other time! Weight has always been an uncomfortable issue for me, but with the strict diet that I'm on during this pregnancy, I'm actually feeling incredibly healthy. Yes, I would love a piece of cheesecake (like...right now), but it's just not worth it. By this time last pregnancy, people thought I was having twins! I was over-eating all the time when I was pregnant with Brody, and it clearly showed. This time, six small meals a day is just right for me. I'm still fitting into my normal clothes! At seven months??? I thought for sure I'd have to cave and buy some maternity clothes by now. When I weigh in at my appointments, I still don't weigh as much as I did before I was pregnant. It just shows how much a healthy diet can truly affect your body. I'm not working out like crazy, just 20-minute walks a day. I just couldn't use my pregnancy as an excuse to binge on my favorite foods this time. You know what? As much as I miss the sweets and fried foods, I'm so glad I'm on this strict diet. It's the best thing that could have happened for baby Louie and me. Would you look at this? I'm actually comfortable showing off this baby belly! Necklace: JewelMint
