For those that remember, I participated in Dressember 2014. The goal is to wear a dress for the whole month of December, to advocate for women who've been exploited for their femininity. I'm joining the movement again and this time, I asking for you to join me. For 31 days, we will all doodle a dress and share on social media, in hopes to bring awareness to this incredible cause. I'd love if you would join the Cozy Reverie team, so we can work together to "restore dignity to all women"!
Dressember creates an opportunity to advocate for the dignity of all women, worldwide. Participants wear dresses every day during the month of December to embrace the freedom that they're allowed, and to do so on behalf of those who aren't free to live vibrant, autonomous lives. Funds raised during Dressember 2015 will support the work of International Justice Mission, and A21, two incredible human rights organizations that work to rescue and restore victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and violent oppression. 85 cents of every dollar raised during Dressember will go to our partner organizations.
We're totally doing a whole teaching thing right here too. Need help understanding dress styles? BAM! Right here! Thanks, Pinterest.
I will be posting my doodles on basically all my social media outlets for the month of December. If you would like to join in, just post your illustrations with the hashtag #DressemberDoodles. You can join the event page here where you can share your artwork with the rest of the team. Let's bring awareness together! Click here to read more about Dressember's mission!
