Oh my goodness, I'm exhausted! Not entirely sure why. Oh wait, I'm still pregnant. That's it.
My back is being put to work. Little Lou moves around a LOT, especially when I'm driving (which freaks me out!). I even took a nap last Thursday, which I haven't done in months. I'm so ready to pop this baby out and feel lighter - that's why I cut my hair!
I needed the change. With all the errands and household chores, I wanted to have just one less thing to do. Chopping off 10 inches off my hair was such a relief! I think I lost two pounds by doing that. No more worrying about getting it tied off in a tight bun, or blow drying/curling/straightening it. YAY! Some days I just let it air dry. Others I can tie it back, just to have it out of my face. Best part? There is less hair around the house! Let's hear it for less sweeping! Whoo-hoo! [So many exclamation points - that's how excited I am]
Dresses have been my go-to lately. Only three pants currently hold the belly and most of my tees and tanks are having trouble covering the belly all the way. I can get away with that at home (alone), but I refuse to be the pregnant gal at the supermarket with the crop top. Roomy dresses like this are perfect during these hot summer days. Believe it or not, I'm still not in maternity clothing! I'm amazed that I can still find items in my closet that can work for these next two months. Hey, as long as I have at least five outfits ready for the week, I do not mind the extra laundry day. I'd rather save the money that I would have spent on maternity clothing for my actual wardrobe after Louie is born. Every mommy deserves a mini-shopping spree after giving birth, don't you think?
