The heat has calmed down and we are starting to get a few cool mornings around here. This means oversized sweaters and boots weather! This makes being pregnant much easier; sometimes there was no escaping the discomfort of the heat. With fall starting to settle in, I can't wait to bundle up in scarves, beanies, and cardigans, like the one I'm wearing in today's post. Rumor has it that the heat is coming back this week, but I'm hoping the forecast is wrong!
What's going on with little Lou, you ask? Well, the little bunny (that's what Brody wants me to call him, since Brody is my little monkey) is a big time mover. Did you know I'm not allowed to lean forward anymore? Yeah, this kid won't let me! It's as if he stretches his whole body until I lean back. Bossy pants! We're at 35 weeks now, which technically means the little guy is full term. He still needs more time to fully develop his digestive tract, but for the most part, this kid might come at any time now. I'm almost afraid to drive more than 15 miles away from my hospital!
Recently, the Brodster has been saying how much he can't wait for October. This year, October is a huge deal for him. We've got tons of activities planned for the month, not to mention Halloween. Plus, his little brother due to arrive! Brody already asked if I could bring Louie to meet his classmates because his friends are excited. Isn't that adorable? Man, I love kids.
