AHH YEAH, the Brodster earned his yellow belt in karate!
This means another post featuring him as the art director! I insisted yellow meant April O'Neil, but he insisted on Mondo Gecko (dude, the old Mondo Geck was green). "FINE!" I said, and I added both. There is no way April isn't going to be in this post! I'm stubborn like that. I guess he gets it from me. ;)
We were so insanely proud of him! It feels like just yesterday I posted about his orange belt, but alas, here we are, watching him grow stronger every day. Such a big kid.

The Haunted Mansion is probably the scariest place I will ever visit willingly. I've done Knott's Scary Farm and Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights in the past, but it's just not for me. I'm a wuss and completely own it!
Still the home of the 999 happy haunts is so incredibly well done, and very few could match the incredible detailing and craft that went into this evolving attraction. The Portraits mug was inspired by the elevator and is still a favorite in the shop. I recently searched for the actual script of the opening monologue, and I dare you to tell me it doesn't give you chills just by reading it:
Hi! I'm Amy
I draw, make, and occasionally tell a story.
