"In a Nutshell" is an ongoing series, reminding myself that's it okay to look back on mini-accomplishments before focusing on the now.
I slowed down a bit on the blog this month, in hopes to focus on my book series. It is an ambitious project and I'm still nervous about it, so I really wanted to put 100% in making it awesome. Shoot, at this point, I'll settle for "pretty good". All joking aside, I have been quite overwhelmed with everything that has been happening lately that something had to give. Thank you so much for still hanging out and be sure to subscribe to the newsletter so you don't miss a thang!
Here is August 2017 in a nutshell
This was my first full month on Patreon. There have been sneak peeks of new cards, and of course, the first book of the series, so I'm pretty excited about it. Yesterday, I posted my very first podcast episode - whaaaaat? If you love greeting cards and really really love getting new designs before anyone else, come on over and join the party!
The Watkinez babies are back in school! I was so excited to partner with Spoonflower to create these fun DIY pennants to preserve the first day memories.
Holiday cards are sneaking into the shop - did you catch that? ;)
I have always had a love for stop-motion. I'm going to try to get more ambitious next month.
For those that were asking, the tank I'm wearing in the photo above is available here. :)
That's it, peeps! Time to reset and aim for a productive September! :)
