It has been a week of long tanks and yoga pants. Hair tied back and zero make-up. My body is so tired and my hips are definitely starting to feel the weight of baby Louie. Luckily, for some reason, I get a burst of energy every Monday. That's when I run as many errands as I can before I crash on the couch at 5pm. After that, I'm pretty much drained for the week. I didn't even have the energy for an outfit post - sorry, no belly shot today! However, I thought it would be fun to review the baby bump.
Let's see how baby Louie has grown!
It's amazing how different both my pregnancies have been. With the first, I worked retail until the week of my due date, meaning I was on my feet eight hours a day during the holiday season. I gained fifty pounds with my first pregnancy. This time around, I have had to take it easy (leaving a physically demanding job) and really watch what I eat. Losing so much weight that I still haven't reached the weight I was at before I got pregnant. Nuts, right?
Still, I have loved both experiences! Brody was a very easy pregnancy and quite fun. Louie has tested my will power, and thankfully, made me healthier. The best part of this pregnancy has been all the time I have been able to spend with Brody. Picking him up after school instead of him going to daycare. Helping him with homework instead of tutors. He won't be an only child soon, so I know how lucky I have been to be able to give him this attention before Louie arrives. I'm sure we'll miss it, but we're so excited about the new family member. We are just thankful for these quiet moments before the household gets loud and crazy again!
