Last weekend, the family headed out to San Diego once again! This time, we spent the day at Sea World San Diego. Knowing we would have a full day of walking and warm weather, the sneakers and shorts seemed ideal. I had no idea I had them matching until my sister took this photograph! This is one of my super comfy outfits. I basically just want to survive the day without worrying about aching feet or spilling anything on my shirt. That’s my mommy secret to choosing tops: find colorful patterns. That way, any food or drink that may fall will blend in with the shirt! I had not visited this theme park in over three years. However, it felt like the first time since Brody and Patrick had never visited before. We caught a couple of shows and saw most of the exhibits, which Brody loved! He has always been fascinated by animals and how they moved, even though he would never get near them. I don't blame him. I'm the same way! I find sea creatures so beautiful, but I'm the last person to ever handle them. I couldn't even clean out my goldfish bowl when I was a kid! Patrick and my sister's boyfriend, Mario, snuck away for a few minutes to go play the carnival games and returned with tons of prizes for the Brodster. This lucky, lucky kid! We asked Brody what he was going to name his new orca friend and he replied, "Dodger Blue". YES! That's my boy! All in all, it was a great day with my family in San Diego. That city never disappoints! It is always so fun visiting my sister and her boyfriend. I also love how wonderfully bright blue the whole Sea World park is. I completely regret not upgrading our tickets to get the rest of 2013 free, so that will be a goal for next year.
