![]() Early post this week, since tomorrow is the 4th of July! The Brodster and I have had a bunch of fun just crafting around the house to decorate. This place is wonderfully patriotic this week; I almost don't want to take any of it down. Eh, I'll probably leave everything up for the rest of the month. :) Here is the list of all the crafts we did, which can be used for any US holiday, not just Independence Day! Decorate the HouseOn Monday, we dedicated some time to get our living room ready for the 4th. No real reason, we weren't having company over or anything, but it was still really fun to do. Plus, since we did everything with cardstock, so we can save it for next year! Cozy Reverie 4th of July Bunting: Red, White, and Blue Paper Chain: The easiest craft to show kid! The Brodster cut the strips and glue the chain pattern, which is now hanging in our living room. Simple, fast, and totally effective! Watkinez Holiday Banner: We've had a green and white banner hanging there for the month of June, so I used the same design, just with patriotic colors. If you would like a custom banner created for your family, feel free to contact me at my Etsy shop! 4th of July SnacksWith a short week, we had a pretty full schedule. Normal chores, library visit...all that jazz. So as a fun way to celebrate the holiday, the Brodster and I made one special treat each day. I took the easy route, with simple snacks just done in red, white, and blue. If you have more time on your hands, visit my Party board on Pinterest for more ideas.
