You’d think once summer hits, life gets a little less hectic. Actually, it gets even more busy! Outings every weekend, packing for Brody’s summer events at school, and this year, planning for the big move to kindergarten! That’s mainly one of the reasons why I have started the merge between my art page, Noisy Merriment, and Cozy Reverie. I needed to condense something! Haha! Another time-saver in my daily life are three C’s outfits: Classic, Comfort, Colorful. These are my go-to combinations that are easy to find and comfortable to wear, while still reflecting my personal style. So when I’m running late or have little time to change in between appointments and events, I reach for an ensemble similar to this one. The Tunic: A flowy top just long enough to pass the hip, but not too long to be a dress. I love this trend because it hides the tummy and hips, while still being slightly dressy. These are perfect for days that I’m driving Brody around town. It’s so comfortable to wear. I make it a point to buy patterns because it give the whole The Stretch Pant: Thicker than leggings and not restricting like jeans. It’s no secret that I’ve pretty much given up on jeans. I’m just not a fan, especially since I sit behind a desk 40 hours a week. The mommy tummy changes everything. So until I get back those high school abs, the stretch pant is ideal! Nude Wedges: These go with EVERYTHING. The key is finding a pair that are comfortable! I wouldn’t wear these for a day of errands, but a day at the office is just fine. They make it easy to find an outfit – you don’t have to worry about a pair that match. Accessories: Small patterned make-up bag is perfect to store the bare essentials of the day. Gray Infinity Scarf adds texture to the combo (make your own with this DIY tutorial). The pendant necklace adds a small touch of style. What are your go-to clothing pieces?
