Remember my first post in 2013? It feels like a century ago! For those new to the blog, I started Cozy Reverie as a style blog (say what?), and quickly realized that was not my calling. It organically transformed into an art blog before my 1st blogiversary, and by 2015, I was officially a freelance artist. In 2016, the brand finally hit its stride. I had always dreamed of textile design and it was finally happening! Wowzers! Dreams coming true up in here! From launching a Youtube channel, closing/re-opening the Etsy shop, establishing Pinata Day, and more, this past year was definitely fun but incredibly overwhelming. I was working so hard on creating what I thought was expected of me, and not focusing on the things I love. After an inspiring week at Alt Summit (more on this next week), I have decided to focus on what I want to do as an artist. No more chasing numbers, likes, and followers - that's such a crazy unnecessary stress that does not define me or validate my art in any way.
As a big thank you to all you lovely readers that have been on this crazy roller coaster with me, I'm hooking you up with this art print! It is a hint of what's to come in the next few months. Download the jpeg via the button below, and you can print as many as you'd like! I love going to local printers and having images printed on 8 x 10 prints. They make great gifts!
