Today is my last day at my desk job. After five (almost six) years at this stable gig, I am making the decision to go back to retail, namely visual merchandising. You have no idea how excited I am! I have missed the challenges and creativity that come with that industry, so it was only a matter of time before I went back to it.
Still, leaving the place where I formed so many friendships makes it such a bittersweet experience. I designed this card, just as a way to say, “see ya later”. It’s funny how I am obsessed with greeting cards all of a sudden, but it is a great way to give moments like this the extra personalized touch. Generic cards aren’t enough anymore. Luckily, I make my own. See ya later, LA buddies! Thank you for everything, but dammit…I’m gonna miss you.
