Wasn’t I just talking about waiting for those lovely UPS boxes to arrive? Well, they did today! The last two presents on Brody’s Christmas list are now in my hands and ready to be wrapped.
For all the young readers of this blog, I just want you to know that this happens to be my deal with Santa. His elves make the toys and mail them to me via trusty UPS. My job is to wrap them. Of course, I would never take credit for it! Santa’s name will be on the gift tag; after all, he is making sure if I’m naughty or nice as well. Then I’ll send them back to Santa so that he can inspect my work and deliver them on Christmas Eve.
Wow, that was a much more complicated explanation that I thought it would be. Let’s move on.
The Brodster really has been a great kid. It has been the year where he has shown the most growth – he even wrote his Christmas list on his own! My favorite part of Christmas has always been the gift-giving, and now with a son, each year just gets better and better. I can’t wait for his face to light up on Christmas Day! Then all this work for Santa will be worth it. :)
I draw, make, and occasionally tell a story.
