Dressember begins in just a few days and we've been prepping early this year! In just three years, thousands of women around the world have raised over $1.5 million to end human trafficking. 2016 marks the third year that Cozy Reverie has participated in this amazing campaign and I hope to make it the first time we hit our fundraising goal. As of right now, we have already raised over $64K before Dressember officially starts - that's incredible! For those unfamiliar with Dressember, this campaign is about showing your support of the abolition of modern day slavery. For the month of December, advocates will wear a dress and post on social media. This 31-day challenge "creates an opportunity to advocate for the inherent femininity and dignity of all women". We are using fashion and creativity to bring awareness to these injustices around the world. This year, Dressember has partnered once again with International Justice Mission and the A21 Campaign. You can read more about the Dressember story here and the complete mission statement here. "How can I help?"So glad you asked! There are four different ways you can help: 1. Become an advocate! Join in the 31-day dress challenge to fundraise for our 2016 goal 2. Donate to the Cozy Reverie Dressember campaign. We hope to reach our goal of $350 by December 31st, if not more! UPDATE 11/30/16: I have joined the Girls with Class but Not Pants team with the goal of $1000! 3. Shop the Monstera Deliciosa collection. This Cozy Reverie design was made just for this campaign and 100% of the profits in December 2016 will be donated to the Dressember Foundation. It's not just dresses either - take a peek! 4. Share this post! If you can't donate at the moment, please spread the word about this wonderful campaign. Follow along with our Dressember campaign on Instagram via the hashtag #CozyRevDressember!
