#Dressember 2015 Recap: Week 4
Happy Christmas Eve! We're getting all our last-minute details settled, and just realized we have zero plans for food tonight. Not even Santa's cookies. Talk about being a procrastinator - thatsa me!

Week four of Dressember is complete - just one more!  To be quite honest, I can’t wait to be able to wear pants again. It sounds so silly to complain about something like that when Dressember is about raising money and awareness to help fight human trafficking. However, I have to say I find myself lucky to not be in these terrible situations so, by wearing a dress for 31 days, I hope to bring awareness to this type of injustice in the world.

Awesome news: The Dressember organization has raised over $570,000 USD! That’s 57% of the 2015 goal! I must once again thank the wonderful guests of the Cozy Reverie Etsy shop. 10% of all profits made in the month of December will be donated to the Dressember cause. If you would like to donate directly, you can visit my fundraising page here.

“The heart of Dressember is dignity-- that every woman has the right to live a vibrant and free life.
As you take on the creative challenge of wearing a dress for the 31 days of December, you are advocating for the inherent dignity of all women.
Dressember is meant to inspire and empower a global community of people who are locking arms to face one of the greatest injustices of our time.
Donations to the Dressember 2015 campaign will support the work of International Justice Mission and A21, two human rights organizations that are bringing rescue and freedom to victims of slavery, sex trafficking and other forms of violent oppression. Learn more about IJMand read about A21 here.”
