Happy happy 4th everyone! I have always been a big fan of holidays, mainly because there is a family and/or friend get-together. For us, today is a family-friendly BBQ! I tried out three different outfits for today's festivities. Lucky for me, I love primary colors so I had tons to of reds and blue to choose from. Shorts are ideal for a sunny day in the valley. The tie-dye top is actually a dress that I shortened by tying a side knot. To give it an extra patriotic blue, I accessorized with a multi-strand cozy reverie necklace (DIY tutorial coming soon). Dresses are so easy for summer days. So with just some slip ons and a scarf (DIY tutorial here), it's an effortless get up. Ultimately, I decided to go with the outfit I planned a couple of weeks ago. I've always liked using this denim dress as a cardigan. Plus, you can't go wrong with a pair of flip flops! Gotta be comfy at the party, right?
Have a very fun and safe holiday everyone!
