I'm so EGG-cited to announce the new Fried Egg Scarf! You know what that means? The Etsy shop is back! Handmade items have always been something I liked to do, but never really had the confidence to do in full force. Well, 2017 is the year to be brave!
I first introduced Evie on Instagram via the Big Hair Don't Care Series, and really liked how this gave the new scarf a personality. Largely inspired by the J. Peterman catalog featured on Seinfeld, these illustrations are bound to add a lot of fun imaginary backstories to the designs (with a dash of truth, of course).
Okay, so I'm going to take a moment to gush over how amazing this fleece fabric is! I have quite the love affair with Spoonflower and I definitely wanted to kick off the new shop with this colorful, happy print I designed a few months ago. Pink and yellow is always a great combination. The real reason I'm EGG-static is that the fabric is sooooo soft! This fleece is double-faced, low loft, 100% polyester knit napped fabric. Comfy and colorful.? You guys, these scarves are literally COZY REVERIE.
The goal for the year is to have 12 new designs up in running for the shop. The fried egg scarf is available now and three more designs are available for pre-order. I am so beyond EGG-cited (is it okay that I used that joke twice?) for this new adventure for the shop and hope you are too!
