A couple of years ago, I created Lego valentines for the Brodster to hand out to his classmates. At the time, he was obsessed with Lego Marvel and we wanted his valentines to reflect that. With Brody becoming more and more creative by the day, we thought we would give him a go as art director this year. The second I gave him the idea, he got excited! I gave him a couple of days to brainstorm on what he wanted to do, then spent a Saturday afternoon prepping, propping, and taking pictures. It was a fun activity to do with my nine-year-old director-in-the-making, and I highly encourage you to try it too (even if you don't have kids)! Materials Used: Poster Board Kids Toys Candy Camera Local one-hour photo printer (we used the Walgreens template here) You can watch the full process here. We hope we've inspired you to make your own classroom valentines! Many thanks to the Brodster for letting me guest host this project! Be sure to keep an eye out for the second season of his podcast!
