I adore this top from H&M. I've had it for a couple of years now and it is always the perfect top for a lazy day. With the oversized cut of the it, plus the pattern, you can barely see the baby bump! Not exactly maternity wear, but comfy nonetheless. I've been taking it easy this week, just as planned. Little projects here and there, but nothing straining. I guess that's what I should be doing at this stage in the pregnancy anyway, right? Fun Tidbit: Louie was actually kicking throughout this whole photo session! With so much downtime, it is easy to get sucked into being online most of the day, especially when the Brodster is at school. Recently, we went to our son's back-to-school night, where his teacher suggested having "Media-Free Mondays". This means no TV and no iPad for the day. I really liked the idea of that, but then I realized how unrealistic it would be for me. Sure, Brody can do it! He's done it before, plenty of times. However, for me, I've got emails to respond to, shops to manage, and there's no way I can turn off my cell phone (emergencies, ya know?).
So in an effort to try my own version of media-free something, I decided to take a break from my personal Facebook account. I've done this before and it was a nice sense of relief. It was one less thing that I thought I had to check. For about a month and a half, I didn't check my newsfeed, and you know what? I totally survived. In fact, by week two, I didn't really miss it all that much. With this break, I've allowed myself to only monitor the blog Facebook business page. I really believe it will be nice to have more time away from the screen. Facebook tends to be time-consuming, especially when you aren't looking at the clock. This way, I can have more time for myself! Maybe I'll finally pick up the book I've been meaning to read. :)
