"In a Nutshell" is an ongoing series, reminding myself that's it okay to look back on mini-accomplishments before focusing on the now. Farewell, October. This was the first month where I had completely cut ties with commitments that I felt were stressing me out, and it has made such a difference in my mentality and health (I went into the details on the podcast). I tried to do the Inktober challenge, but got overwhelmed by the first week so I stopped. Yay for taking care of myself! I rarely do that. Oh, and today is Halloween? Not that you needed me to remind you, but OMG how fast is this year going?! We are planning on meeting a few friends to go trick-or-treating and then probably scarf down too much candy on the drive home. Solid plan, if I do say so myself. And now, this month in a nutshell! I contributed an autumn-inspired wallpaper over at Wonder Forest! With A Waltz Through Disney, we had fun with the #FallIntoDisneyStyle photo challenge, but have you seen all the Halloween DIYs? The Watkinez family took a trip to visit Grandma up north and we had a fantastic little early birthday party for Lou. We also managed a Disneyland trip with Grandma and Grandpa, where we dressed as The Beagle Boys! Lots of new cards in the shop and this one is my new favorite. My lovely patrons received it as their monthly gift! If you want in on the monthly greeting card club, check out my Patreon page for the details. :) November is practially here (say what?) so there will be a ton of holiday prep around here. Stay tuned!
