Hi, I'm a penguin. At least I walk like one now! I waddle up the stairs and to the kitchen. I have perfected the quick shuffle to the restroom when Louie decides to lean on my bladder. Yep, I'm totally one of those "adorkable" birds. I thought I'd have a little fun and channel the flightless bird in my outfit post today with some black and white. I even made a simple hair bow to match. Plus, of course, one of the cuties from Mary Poppins is joining me. See? Playing dress up can be fun for all ages! :)
Surprisingly, even with the waddle, I have had a lot more energy these past few days. I took full advantage of it: got the Brodster ready for his first day of school, completed a few custom illustrations for clients, and got a ton of paperwork and learning tools ready for Brody's year. I have no idea where the energy came from, and I don't care! I highly doubt it will last throughout my whole third trimester, so let's all be happy it's here now.
The baby penguin (little Lou) is just as active, if not more than I. I've read that I should keep track of how many times baby Louie moves within an hour of his most active parts of the day. He should move at least ten times...yeah, um I don't need to count. This kid moves way more than that. Whoo-hoo! Overachiever!
