This past weekend, the Watkinezes went on a road trip. We've done them before but this would be the second one with Lou. I was determined to make it as easy as possible. While we don't have any control over how the trip actually goes, I do have power over the packing. I love packing for trips. However, one thing I hate about the trip home? Packing. Get the difference? Packing FOR trips = LOVE. Packing to go home = YUCK. So let's make it super easy, right? The one tip to avoid worrying about repacking all our clothing: TAKE A LAUNDRY BAG. For this month's Pinteresting Adventure, I followed this tutorial and had a bag ready in less than 15 minutes! I added the handwritten "Gross" to the bag by cutting it out of brown felt and hot-gluing it to the top of the bag. If I were to do it again, I would have glued it closer to the bottom so that I can actually read it (duh!).
So now it's clear: kiddos, toss all your gross dirty clothes into the laundry bag. Then just toss it into the trunk and off to home we go! BONUS: Right when we get home, toss all the grossness into the washing machine and grab a glass of wine. Oh my gosh, can you believe how easy that was? YEE!
