It's Pupusas Day! I had to do a little bit of research for this day (and to be quite honest, I'm still not 100% sure if it actually is a day) because the dish isn't exactly a nationwide trend...YET. Pupusas are amazing, so I vote we start a movement to get the love for this carb-a-licious treasure to be the next big thing for 2016. Who's with me? While I should probably be featuring actual photographs of the food, I'm just not a food photographer. I'm really not that great at it. I do draw food though! So instead I'm featuring my "Horchata y Pupusas" scarf! The design is already a favorite in the Red Bubble shop, so I think this one may need to get a bit more exposure on Instagram, don't you think? I freakin' love this sheer scarf, which is perfect for year-round wear, and it's huge, which means it can be worn in so many different ways! Have you ever tasted Pupusas? For those that don't know, Pupusas is a traditional Salvadoran dish and it's carbalicious! Usually made with thick, handmade tortillas and filled with cheese, pork, or beans (or all three!). If you haven't tasted either one before, I highly suggest you find a Central American restaurant near you and make a day out of it. This cuisine is something everyone should enjoy! Side note: there is no documented "Horchata Day" so we need to jump on this with the quickness. Top: Old Navy (similar) | Scarf: Red Bubble
