2018 was a year of uncertainty for the Cozy Reverie brand. I didn't know if I wanted to continue. Since it relied so much on social media (and social media tends to work on popularity), my mental health took a toll. With the combination of a challenging full-time job, it became clear that something had to give. So I took a break. Multiple breaks. For months. Almost the whole year. I almost quit all together. (See here) Then I found purpose. I wanted to draw for good. For social issues I care about. For organizations I believe in. I found joy again and in a much bigger, more fulfilling way. You might notice that most of my #topnineof2018 are re-posts from previous years. It's reflective of how important it is to be happy with what you are doing. It's as if you all knew when there was joy behind my photos and when there wasn't! 😍 I have been all over the place with what I want to do with Cozy Reverie, and I still haven't come to a concrete solution. However, there are a few changes happening in our lives that might help me decide where this bumpy road will lead me. There isn't even a final destination in sight - just a fun little roadtrip that I'm definitely looking forward to! 😁 "Remembering 2018" first appeared on Cozy Reverie's Instagram
