I have been contemplating on which direction I want to take my blog for a few months now. Style blog, lifestyle blog, art blog...what is the purpose?! I have been trying to write every day now for three months, and it is exhausting. There should be a life-work-blogging balance and I have yet to figure that out.
In the quest of finding stability and piece of mind, the Cozy Reverie Art & Style Blog will continue to be just that: an art & style blog. However, it will focus on how my art is reflected in my style (and vice versa).
Today, I introduce you to "Snow White De Los Muertos". This illustration is the well-known Disney princess illustration with a sugar skull. Just in time for Halloween, eh? I have always found the tradition of Dia De Los Muertos a hauntingly beautiful celebration.
My digital artwork is printed on unisex American Apparel Fine Jersey Tank Tops, which are made with 100% fine jersey cotton, combed for softness and comfort. The Heather Grey tops contain 10% Polyester. I styled my top with red/black flannel print leggings, black boots, and a light weight knit beanie. How would you wear it?
As promised, the winner of the Cozy Reverie September giveaway is announced today! Many MANY thanks to all who entered and I wish I could send a prize to everyone, but there could only be one winner:
Deanna T! Be sure to check your email for details on how to claim your prize!
I draw, make, and occasionally tell a story.
