With Halloween less than a month away, we got super lucky that our boys already found their costumes! Long gone are the days that my boys will let me choose their costumes for them, but it is interesting to see what they come up with. Louie was changing his mind every day, every 5-10 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating (see this thread). However, when he saw the sloth costume at Target this last month, he was so excited that he promised he wouldn't change his mind anymore and THIS WAS IT. Being a huge fan of crossing things off the to-do list, I was more than happy to finally have one kid ready for Halloween. The bigger project was Brodster's design: A Pokemon trainer. Not just any trainer, the costume is BRODY AS A POKEMON TRAINER. He had a very specific look he was going for, and the challenge was to find the right colors because he needed to match his Pokemon, Chespin.
With all the clothes and accessories, I ended up spending a lot more than I thought I would, but at least he can still wear the clothes throughout the year, so I didn't feel too bad about it. Once we figure out how to add his pokemon, Chespin, to his shoulder (the magic of magnets!), we will be all set!
