Thrifty DIY Wedding, Part Ten: Food!Back to the DIY wedding posts! Gotta finish what I start, right? Today we touch upon wedding catering! This task was actually pretty easy for us. We wanted one of our favorite restaurants to cater our event because frankly, we wanted to eat it. Got with your gut (pun intended). Stonefire Grill had food that was sure to please everyone. Their service was fantastic! They made it so easy and effortless for us. This is coming from someone that has NEVER dealt with caterers before. My wonderful bridesmaid, Sato, handled all the beverages. Thank gawd she did! I know absolutely nothing about beer or wine, and it was just one last thing I had to worry about for the big day. 12 bottles of red wine Diamond Collection Claret | Francis Ford Coppola Winery 12 bottles of white wine Main & Geary Pinot Grigio. We highly recommend the BevMo! 5 cent wine sale. 2 cases of Blue Moon 2 cases of Bud Light My sister and maid-of-honor, Debbie, handled the snacks. Even though we had food, we also wanted munchies for everyone while they are hanging out around the park. My biggest fear was not having enough food and thankfully, that was not the case. The snacks were easily covered by Costco! We had popcorn, goldfish crackers, kettle chips, and mothers cookies. It seemed to match the childlike feel of the whole day!
