Has Louie dropped yet? I'm pretty sure he has because there has been a major shift in weight. Walking is a whole lot harder now, especially because I've lost so much fat around my hips and thighs. The other day, Brody offered to "help" carry Louie by "holding up" the bottom of my belly. Bless his little, adorkable heart.
However, in these photos, Louie still looks high on my body. Man, I don't really know all the technical mumbo-jumbo for when the baby drops, but I'm hoping it isn't any more uncomfortable than right now. Homeboy is completely throwing off my equilibrium. If I drop something on the floor, guess what? It's staying there.
It's not all that bad though. We've been pretty happy with the recent cool mornings and sunny afternoons. With the heat gone, I'm feeling a lot more comfortable in my skin. This is my favorite kind of weather! I'm telling you, I could never live anywhere else but southern California. Yes, it's expensive but you can't beat the weather. I can't imagine shoveling snow off our streets; we can visit Big Bear if we really get in the mood for cold.
This week is full of Halloween prep! We've got the Brodster's Halloween Carnival this week, so I'm crossing my fingers that Louie can hold off on his arrival until after the event. Brody loves this holiday and I really want to be there, helping with the organization and planning. We still don't know our plans for trick-or-treating this year, so that's something else to figure out. October is so busy, but I love it!
I draw, make, and occasionally tell a story.
