As promised, here is a quick tutorial of the multi-strand necklace I wore for the Fourth of July post last week. I use the same technique as the other fabric neckwear posts; I just change up the final design. So to begin, make sure to cut a few strips from an old t-shirt to create the needed loops (reference the first four steps of this DIY).
Materials needed: Five t-shirt loops! Four for the actual necklace and one to tie off the top.
Tie off at the top with the last fabric loop. (Sorry for the stock footage from the last DIY, but I completely forgot to photograph this image. Still, this knot at the end never really changes).
I draw, make, and occasionally tell a story.
