For those that don't know, I have been a stay-at-home mom for almost a year now. I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have this as an opportunity and I'm happier now than I have ever been. Taking care of my boys is my favorite thing to do, and it's 24/7 gig. With that said, recently I am missing actually working somewhere. This is the first time in 27 years that I am not part of an office white elephant game, department potluck, and work holiday party. With the new stranger in the house (baby Louie, I mean), we weren't able to plan the Christmas party for our friends, which I really wanted to make a tradition. Admittedly, it does feel a little lonely. Where will I wear my party dress now? Well, I guess I'm having a "pity party" right now, huh? Ha ha! Then again, I do hope to have our friends over for a get together after the New Year instead. Plus, I've got the Brodster's birthday party to plan for late January. It's not like we're not busy; the timing was just off this season. So in the meantime, I'll just rock the party dress up for Louie at home. "Mommy, you're so fancy", he'll think. I'm sure I'll be able to have multiple outfits a day, due to his glorious spit up. ;) #Dressember continues with day eleven! Read Sahara's story here. Want to help the cause?
