Winter weather has arrived in the valley! We've had flood warnings all morning, which is NOT normal to our area. Still, the sound of the rain has been soothing, especially for baby Lou. He's been sleeping soundly all morning, which has given me some extra time for chores today.
Gift wrapping has to start this week, which means finding easy ways to hide the fact that I am terrible at it. Most people are surprised when I admit this. Believe me, just because I draw and paint doesn't mean I'm awesome at all things crafty. I'm terrible at gift wrap! Thank goodness for Pinterest, right? I found this stress free gift wrapping hack and will definitely try it out.
This year, I am using my custom illustrations to add a little personality to the packaging. Instead of using the art for our holiday cards (I used an awesome photo of the boys instead), I created custom gift tags! I wish I had thought of this sooner so it could be offered in the Etsy shop. It'll be a fun option for the 2015 Valentines' Day collection.
#Dressember continues with day twelve! Want to help the cause?
