2014 was not a typical year for me at all! It kicked off with me leaving the work force to become a stay-at-home mom and prepare for baby number two: Baby Louie. I didn't have the easiest pregnancy, but it definitely made me healthier, which in turn makes me happier. It is also pretty awesome being able to pick up my son from school and actually spend summer vacation with him. Now with Lou in the house, it has become more challenging to get things done, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Three wonderful boys are now in the Watkinez household. I'm the luckiest gal ever.
In the art department, my little shop has grown tremendously. I finally made custom illustrations an option in my Etsy shop, where they have been the most popular item. It is still flattering that my artwork draws people in. The same goes for Cozy Reverie on Society 6. It looks like there are a lot of Wes Anderson fans out there - as there should be!
Now, after two months of blogging every single day (November had Louie's A-Z and December had Dressember), it is time to truly take a breather. I have already started planning my blog posts to give me more time with the household. I have even given myself work hours! Work hours at home! Haha! I hope to enter the work force again, but for now, I'm loving my time with my boys. It would have to be an amazing gig to leave the Watkinez nest. Nothing beats gets paid in hugs and kisses.
P.S. - It's our 2-year wedding anniversary today. Happy civil ceremony, Patrick! I just noticed I didn't wear my wedding ring in the photo...oops! At least I wore my wedding dress :)
It is the last day of Dressember! Yep, that's right - I'm done asking you for money. :)
The heart of Dressember is dignity-- that every woman has the right to live a vibrant and free life.
