It's the last day of Dressember 2015! So I didn't exactly reach my goal (not even close, actually), but to be quite honest, I'm glad I participated again. It's super hard for me to admit when I don't complete a goal, but this isn't about me. Dressember is so much bigger than that.
As I prepared this recap of the last few posts, I realized something. This year, I reached even more people to bring awareness to a subject matter that many people would prefer to ignore. Look, I get it. I want to think this type of violence against women doesn't exist either, which is why I joined in the Dressember campaign again. With the help of International Justice Mission and A21, our fundraising is helping victims of human trafficking be rescued, get taken care of, and shown the path to better lives. As of today, we have raised 75% of the goal of $1 million USD. That's incredible! So if you would love to help, please consider donating tothe Dressember campaign. These 31 days of dresses wasn't just about style. It is for the protection of these women and for future women everywhere. It is, in fact, much bigger than a dress. Thanks to all who participated in #DressemberDoodles!
