Anybody else trying to save money this holiday season? We sure are! While we have been watching our budget, there was one thing we cannot do without during this time of year: holiday cards. We have so many loved ones that we don't see very often, so the yearly family photo is an absolute must for our family. With such busy schedules, I had to think of a creative way to get the boys to take their photos. One Saturday morning, I was able to create this simple photo backdrop in 15 minutes!
1. With masking tape, attached a large piece of butcher paper in the desired location of the wall.
2. Draw your favorite holiday items (like in the video) or have the kids draw their own holiday scene.
3. Take your family photos in front of your new backdrop!
This backdrop can work great for family pics or party photo booths. Oh! Oh! I just thought of something else while typing this: you can have the blank butcher paper and have party guest draw their own favorite holiday items and once everyone is done, have fun in your photo booth! What a lovely memory! Next time we host a party, I am definitely going to do that.
Happy drawing, peeps! Be sure to tag #CozyReverieDIY so we can see your finished projects!
