B is for Baseball Player

The Watkinez household is very much a baseball home.  However, it is officially a divided family: Brody and I are LA Dodger fans, while Patrick is an SF Giants fan.

When we first got the news that I was pregnant, Patrick made his case that it would only be fair that the little one would be a Giants fan.  For months, I just couldn't agree. The logical side of me said "of course, that's fair!", but the irrational-emotional-LAnative side of me would not allow me to give birth to another Giants fan.  It's crazy, I know - after all, it's only laundry.  BUT STILL.

Both teams made the playoffs this year. I agreed that if the Giants won the series, Louie could be a Giants fan, BUT if the Dodgers won, then this household would have three Dodgers fans instead!

Well...we all know how that worked out.
