As promised for every Friday, I am posting the progress photos for my health and fitness journey. This blog is the biggest reason I started to take the progress photos in the first place.You see, week after week, I was watching myself gain a little bit of weight. I didn't actually notice the weight gain until I re-read an outfit post where I was wearing a dress that didnt fit me anymore. Quite the eye-opener, right?
Weekly progress shots are necessary to keep myself on track. Obvious change won't show every week but it should still be a consistent part of the routine. Gotta work hard to build good habits and this is sure to keep me honest with myself.
Scale: Not a big fan of the scale, but since we're talking about change, I lost two pounds. A little bit at a time right?
Food: I actually did great this week! Being consistent with healthy eating is BY FAR the hardest part for me. We are having a big celebration at work today, so I'm going to allow myself a treat. No food binging, of course! Everything in moderation.
Fitness: It had been a stressful week, so the 30-minute workouts every evening have definitely kept me sane. I did some hula-hooping (who doesn't feel instantly happy when using one of these?), leg work, and ab work - all while catching up on Season 2 of The Sopranos. Thank you, HBO On Demand, for making the time fly!
Fingers-crossed that I keep this up next week!
